Who made it: Miramar Confectionery Corporation

What it is: White nougat candy similar to the tiny white bits in your Toblerone, only better!

Where I got it: SM Hypermarket, Pasig

When I got it: 12/5/2010, after dinner

Why I got it: Dessert hunting and candy shopping for the week

How I find it:Panalo! Perfect taste, perfect texture. Medyo dumidikit lang yung packaging dun sa candy at times. Sometimes, I also get a bad batch with some quality issues (poor packaging, rock-solid candy, oily candy, etc.) but this one is the best batch so far in years!

Orange Swits

 

Who made it: Super Candy, Inc.

What it is: Gummy orange flavored candy usually sold in buses since I started riding buses (or probably earlier)

Where I got it: SM Hypermarket, Pasig

When I got it: 12/5/2010, after dinner

Why I got it: Dessert hunting and candy shopping for the week

How I find it: Still tastes very similar to the original. However, the quality has improved and the texture is very close to its imported counterpart. 

Chocolate Wafer

Who made it: Island Biscuit, Inc.

What it is: Usual chocolate wafer with a new wave twist! It maintained it's original packaging from the late 1980's to the early 1990's(or something very similar... basta it has the castle and coach image!)

Where I got it: Waltermart, Makati (Pasong Tamo)

When I got it: 12/3/2010, lunch time

Why I got it: I was looking for something to have as my desert after having lunch at TOSH

How I find it: OK lang. somehow happy getting the same taste (as far as I can remember). not too sweet, and does not taste like paper... sakto lang! :)
